Dog Walking Vacancies
Due to continued expansion, Dog Days would like to recruit additional Dog Walkers / Pet Sitters to help with work in the Ascot, East Reading and West Reading Areas.
The Dog Walking Role
A Dog Days walker will typically be a dog owner past or present and will have a genuine desire to work with animals.
Dog Days walkers collect and return clients dogs using their own transport, however all equipment required for the safe transportation of multiple dogs, including dog guards, crates, pet carriers and seat belts is provided by Dog Days.
Typical working hours are 2.5 hours a day, over the lunchtime period, 5 days a week, Monday to Friday and Dog Days is looking for applicants who can support this work schedule as a minimum. We are however able to offer longer hours and greater rewards for applicants who require this. Dog Days likes to work with walkers on an individual basis to agree workloads tailored to their requirements.
Dog Days offers competitive rates of pay and employees enjoy 20 days paid holiday per year. Dog Days walkers are able to increase income by participating in general pet sitting duties such as home visits to look after smaller pets and the option also exists to take on home boarding assignments, however these additional duties are entirely optional and depend on individual requirements and circumstances.
