Dog Days offers a flexible daily or occasional dog walking service that is tailored to the needs of our clients.

When you get in touch with Dog Days we will arrange a first meeting with you and your dog. We like to get to know you and understand your walking and care requirements fully. The breed, age, energy levels and temperament of your dog are all important factors that help Dog Days recommend the right walks and social group.

There's no obligation at all and Dog Days doesn't charge for this first visit.

Our services include lunchtime walks for dogs who enjoy group company and home visits for older dogs and puppies. Subject to availability, Dog Days can also provide walks for dogs who need one to one care. However, there is an additional charge for this service which is provided outside of the lunchtime hours.

Since Dog Days began in February 2006, no two clients have been the same. Some have experienced a change of circumstances and need short term assistance, whereas others might be working couples for whom dog ownership would be impossible without our help.

Sometimes we are approached by people whose regular dog walking helpers have left for university or whose partners have taken a posting abroad.

Whatever the circumstances, Dog Days clients share a common sense of responsibility towards their dogs and have taken steps to ensure they get the attention, fun and exercise they need.

If the thought of kennels leaves you cold, then Dog Days might have the answer. Our experienced home boarders will board your dog in a loving home environment providing them with the same care that you do.

When you get in touch with Dog Days we will be pleased to let you know how our service works and answer any questions you have. Then, after a short, informal phone consultation, we can match your dog(s) boarding needs to the most suitable and nearest local boarder. Our boarders are all dog owners past or present, and Dog Days can usually offer a variety of environments including homes with or without children and homes with or without dogs.

We can then arrange for you to meet with your boarder prior to your boarding start date, which most of our clients find really usefull and for absolute peace of mind we can also organise a trial nights boarding.

Everyone loves a puppy, but when you have to work its often difficult to provide the right level of care. But help is at hand. Dog Days can agree with you a schedule of home visits that provides the level of care that suits you and your puppies needs.

As well as lots of love and affection, your puppy will need feeding and help with toilet training and as your puppy grows, exercise will become a key requirement. Dog Days will gradually introduce your puppy to short walks which, in the fullness of time can lead into full social walking with some Dog Days friends.

Our service is completely flexible and if you find your plans change, you can book or cancel a service up to 9:00am on the day.       View Prices

Whether you're away on holiday or on business, Dog Days can arrange a daily visit for your smaller friends to tend to their needs.  We can typically feed and water, adjust ventillation, replace bedding and socialise with your pets. When on a house call, we also like to help with day to day issues such as picking up the post, watering plants and checking on security etc.

We can look after Guinea Pigs, Rabbits, Chinchilla's, Tortoises, Caged Birds, Fish, Reptiles, Chipmunks, Rats, Mice, Hamsters and Gerbils ..., but if you have something more exotic, try talking to Dog Days because we'd love to help if we can.        View Prices
