About working hours.
You are applying for a job as a Dog Walker with Dog Days. This job requires that you work five days a week, Monday to Friday for approximately 2 - 3 hours each day. The working day begins around 11:30 - 12 midday and ends around 2 - 3pm. This job works well for mothers who have a commitment to a school run.
We do not employ casual labour for the dog walking role. If you are not able, or would not like to commit to the working hours set out here, please end your application now.
About your transportation.
You will be using your own car to collect up to (but no more than) 4 dogs at a time to be walked together socially. Your car must be capable of transporting up to 4 dogs. To this end, saloon cars and sports cars are not suitable. Dog Days will provide the means to equip your car for the safe transportation of dogs.
As we do not provide company vehicles, it is essential that you have permanent access to your own car for the hours set out above. It is also a requirement that you have a full UK drivers licence. If you do not have access to a suitable car or you do not possess a full UK drivers licence, please end your application now.
About your status.
About your experience with animals.
It is not essential that you have experience of working with animals but it will be of interest to us if you do.
It is essential that you can demonstrate experience as a dog owner either past or present.
About additional pet sitting work.
Dog Days provides other services to its clients such as small pet sitting, cat sitting and dog sitting services. These services are generally provided by our walkers but only if they want to do extra work. We do not generally employ people solely for the pet sitting role.
Pet sitting work is ad-hoc in nature, the hours can vary and the work is done outside of the core walking hours (see website for more information). If you are interested in considering additional pet sitting work, please indicate below.
Please note - Your application will not be affected in any way if you do not want to do this type of work.
Finally - why become a Walker?
Please tell us why you have applied to become a dog walker with Dog Days today and why you think you will make a good one.
